Come and hear Special Speaker John Kosterlac talk about your private property rights and the government’s continuing effort to take those rights from you.

John Kosterlac is an expert in property rights, history, and the constitution.  He will be educating the public on the threat of government takeover of private property.  Learn what the law is and how to protect yourself.  Learn about the role of the constitution.  Learn how to organize and establish a local government that is for the people by the people.  There will be a question and answer time at the end.

This meeting has been organized by the Greater Mt. Pleasant Area Landlords Association due to recent alarming moves by local governments such as Mt. Pleasant Boro and Upper Tyrone Township to adopt ordinances that are unconstitutional, discriminatory, burdensome, and restrictive to property owners and tenants.  Upper Tyrone Township is still planning to adopt the 2012 International Property Maintenance Code, which will affect all property owners.

Mt. Pleasant Borough passed an ordinance requiring landlords to apply for a permit to rent out their rentals but only after they pass a costly, burdensome, unconstitutional inspection on each unit and register their tenants names, ages, and Social Security Numbers!
